In January, I was asked to help create a mechanism for a RITZ sign that would show the words only when lit and create the illusion of festoon lights. I worked closely with the set designer and electrician to complete this project by cutting reflective vinyl with a mirrored image so individual lights would reflect back into the box but not onto the mesh, creating the desired look. This stage production toured in 2026.

I was also contacted by the electrician to create some card suit bases for the foot lights to go across the front of the stage, which I made with 3mm acrylic in my laser cutter, but then found the black acrylic to be too brittle and decided to cut 5mm transparent acrylic to give the coloured acrylic some support.

As part of my wider experience, I was fortunate to be able to support the production of the set for the Royal Institute Christmas Lectures 2025. I contributed with elements of electronics, specifically in the addition of buttons and the lighting.
